3 MAJOR deletions in one day! Yay!

I'm incredibly excited about yesterday's happenings, so I wanted to post about it. :)

I was notified yesterday that three accounts on my CR which have been negatively affecting my score are being removed, all thanks in large part to my ITS letters which went out.

  1. Received a call from the corporate office of an OC, wanting to resolve a BBB complaint that I had filed and wanted to address my most recent correspondence (ITS). OC has agreed to remove the TL in it's entirety from all three of my CR's with no future reporting. As of last night when I pulled through CIP, the account was already gone from EQ! As of today, this account is gone from both EX and EQ. Remains on TU.
  2. Received a fax at about 2:30pm from a CA in response to an ITS letter, stating that the account is being closed and all reporting is being withdrawn from the CRA's. Account is gone from EX and EQ, remains on TU.
  3. Received my mail at about 7:30pm last night and found that another CA, in response to an ITS letter, sent me notification that they are closing their collection file and notifying the CRA's to immediately delete. Gone from TU, remains on EX and EQ.

So out of 6 ITS letters which had a deadline of today, I received 4 deletions (one deletion came last week - deleted from EX and EQ, remains on TU). One other CA has been going back and forth with me, which will hopefully result in a favorable outcome. Another CA has been mute and an OC hasn't responded. They have until I pick up my mail today...If not, we will be pushing forward. :)

4 out of 6 ain't too shabby!

That's awesome.

Can you tell us the details on the accounts, such as the dates, amounts, etc, etc, as much info as you wish to share.

You can PM me if you dont want to publish to WWW.

I'm not concerned about the WWW thing. ;) But thank you for being respectful of my information...Here is what has been removed so far...

CA #1:

Assigned: 2005 | Amount: $315 | Fall-off: 2012 | Medical

CA #2:

Assigned: 2005 | Amount: $125 | Fall-off: 2012 | Medical

CA #3:

Assigned: 2005 | Amount: $155 | Fall-off: 2012 | Random Debt

OC #1:

Automobile lease opened in 2000, DOLA: 2003. Showed 9-14 late payments, depending on which CR you looked at.

Thanks for the info. So you disputed with the big 3. Did you do any CMRRR Dv's?

Multiple rounds of disputes went through the CRA's regarding these accounts. Because the DV process would've been untimely on these debts, and upon finding multiple violations of the FCRA/FDCPA and Bankruptcy Laws, I went straight to ITS letters sent to the President of the CA/OC.

I'm faxing and emailing today since I forked out $123.00 in

postage yesterday. If EQ continues to give me love, my score should soar with them by the end of the week.

I'm scared that if I send an ITS letter out they will respond with a summons, and then I will end up getting involved with all the courts.... eurgh....

I'm going straight to ITS letters because I have racked up enough violations to actually go to court. I never send out an ITS without having enough documentation in my hands that I'd feel confident a judge would rule in my favor.
