Bi Business
2 small medical collections (35.00 and 100.00) beyond the SOL. Both are with a CA and the OC instructed me to contact the CA. Credit report lists the CA only, not the OC. CA stated over the phone they would only update as PAID but could not DELETE. They don't fall off until 2010. So, being such a small amout I am definitely willing to pay. Should I submit a validation letter or simply offer to pay for deletion. I'd like to get this resolved as soon as possible and am looking to send out a letter tomorrow CMRRR. My FICO is being killed over what essentially amounts to pennies. Thanks in advance! Amerikaner83
PFD.There are ways around the "we won't delete" line...such as having a NDA that applies to 3rd parties (CRAs). You dispute, they can't verify - delete. But try for the full PFD first.
bigjohnstud4200
I say a both. I always use the "i request validation", however, in a effort to bring swift closure to this issue I am willing to pay X in exchange for a deletion. This offer of settlement is not an admission of indebtness, just an attempt to close this matter... etc etc etc.
