mj11
My TC report shows I have one derogatory for Ex. I clearly have 4 accounts with late pays that are 3 years old and one charge off. Is the charge off the derog and are the late pays not derogs?
Amerikaner83
the late pays would be "delinquencies"...I believe. But realistically it's TC - so it's not too important. The important designation is the inherent negative...delinquent or derogatory - doesn't really matter
mj11
This is what it says: How do they distinquish what is Del. and what is Derog? And why does it not matter if it is from TC? I realize the fako/fico dif. but isn't the report itself accurate? Thanks tu ex eq DELINQUENT: 0 1 0 DEROGATORY: 0 1
Amerikaner83
the reprt itself is accurate but the way it's preesnted may not be. The "derog/delinquent" notations are from TC - NOT the reports themselves. The information contained is. See what I'm saying? If you pull your EQ report...it won't say "derog"...pretty sure
hasas13
I have never paid attention to that. I am trying to reduce all TL'S that are just not good to my credit.
mj11
good point about what it says on EQ...Thanks!
brokeinok
I only use TC to monitor the day to day changes on my report. When you are trying to clean up a specific account on a specific report, it's best to get the actual CR from the CRA to see EXACTLY how it's being reported. File a dispute on something, they will send a copy of that report for free when the dispute is complete.
