On 09/07 I had

CRA---FICO's BADS Inquiries

-TU---597-------12-----0

-EX---610-------09-----0

-EQ---597-------08-----0

On 12/07 I have

CRA---FAKO's BADS Inquiries

-TU---626-------06-----4

-EX---589-------03-----1

-EQ---646-------03-----4

I'm making some progress. This is after disputes with the CRA. Now I'm going to send of DV's to the CA.

Thanks everyone for your help! Although, curious my fako is listed as lower then my actual FICO was three months ago with more collections?

Also, anyone know why I still can't get approved for a card? Even the hooters or target guest card, all said no! Weird huh

Probably due to deliquencies still left on your report. Both "Tar-jay" [Target but we like the French pronounciation...sounds funnier] and Walmart turned me down. YET Macys approved me for $100 bucks. Within a short time I was able to PIF $170 with them and by the 90 days (for me, late February) will have probably spent enough to qualify for the Gold card, based on what I read here and other boards. I've always been a Macys fan anyway as they have really good work clothes. Even the Alfani garbage is not bad (Macys store brand), though I stick with more Perry Ellis, Hugo Boss, stuff like that. I actually do need a wardrobe and I find that this fulfills a two-prong approach of getting new clothes/stuff around house and fixing my credit. It's a measly $100 bucks, so there is no excuse to not PIF as soon as I charge it (my bill pay from my bank handles that. As soon as I charge it, I put that sucker in to be paid on my next direct deposit...no fuss, no muss). The only downside I even see with this approach is that you are temporarily forced into high utilization if this is your only TL, but if you PIF and show you are good (NO LATES), this is temporary.

Try macys.com. I have yet to hear of a denial with scores like yours. In NJ, they pulled EX.
