ge application spree

Recommended Posts

beats me, they where the first on my app spree. (speaking of which, no more spree's, slow and steady from now on) I got 1000 instant on their site with 677 and one old INQ from sterling..

When the account was posted to my EX CR 2 days later the CL was 3000..

Guess they realize I really like walmart (I do. my fuel from trucking was ALL bought there with a card that had my name on it. If they track that sort of stuff, and you know they do, they saw about half a million dollars worth of fuel flow through that card in 3 years. No manager is going to chase a customer that just put 800 dollars worth of fuel in a truck out of the parking lot) and we still do 90% of our shoping there for food and what not. I always use plastic there so they know it's me. :D

I have a Sam's Club card through GE Money Bank, had it since 2004. I applied for Wal Mart and was turned down because they could not verify my identity.

They did not ask for additional ID, they turned me down. So I wrote a reconsideration letter and asked them to look up my Sam's account to identify me. I figured that would serve as a reference. It's been close to a month and no reply yet. Maybe I'll get a card in the mail soon! Or some sort of answer.

Hard to believe but Wal-Mart and Sam's club are 2 different animals. They maybe owned and operated by the same people but thats about it.

Same reason you cannot buy tires at Wal-Mart and go to Sam's to have them serviced.
