deepak115
I have been trying to improve my credit since some time now ( 1 year) with some success, I have managed to get my score up from 545 to 624.The GOOD:------------------I opened up 2 revolving credit card accounts Orchard Bank (CL: $ 200) & Capital One Bank (CL: $1,000) and I also have Capital One Auto Loan account with will end 04/2008 with approved loan for $ 9,500. This helped bring my score up a notch. The BAD:----------------I have a bad AMEX account (Closed 2002) & MBNA (now BoA) account (Closed 2003), both of which I opened as a student as they were more than ready to offer credit back then. The UGLY:----------------I have also incurred a small Collections Account; with I paid off (Closed 2006)I have recently bought "Good Credit is sexy" and am trying to remove -ve accounts from my file. I have removed all my old addresses from TU & EQ but could not from EXP.I want to know, if it is possible for me to successfully remove my BAD accounts from the file. Is it legal to just say this account do not belong to me and initiate an investigation. If not what can I do to have them removed, other than wait till 2010.Also, One of my +ve revolving CC account do not show up on TU causing it to have a difference in FICO from EQ & EXP, what should I do with that? State laws might vary.If a good TL ain't reporting to all 3 CRAs, give customer service a call, and be nice.
