redskinfan Posted December 22, 2007 Report Share Posted December 22, 2007 I DV'd NCO after receiving many, many phone messages and no dunning letter.I got a letter from them yesterday statting they were in reciept of my letter and they had closed the account in their office. According to their file they had not reported to the credit bureau and last check they were not listed.I am pretty impressed with their response. YoUrFrIeNdMiKe Posted December 23, 2007 Report Share Posted December 23, 2007 Congratulations!i contacted some of the credit bureaus once, some twice and NCO kept verifying the debt. so i sent NCO a simple cease and desist letter, and in about a month they wrote back saying that they were not collecting on the account, AND that they contacted the bureaus to have the item deleted. WOW! dispute, dispute, dispute.some days are good in this credit repair war, some not so good but at the end of the month, it's good. Be Encouraged !!! and Happy Holidays!
