brokeinok
I've sucessfully disputed several incorrect late payment histories on closed accounts and had them corrected. They stayed corrected for about two and a half months but my last round of official CR's revealed that two of these accounts have magically had the late payment history returned. Keep in mind that I got these by disputing with CRA's, getting verification then writing to the OC (data furnisher) requesting an investigation. Both investigations revealed that they were indeed reporting incorrectly and the OC fixed them on all three CR.Is it a violation for them to re-insert them after admitting they were incorrect in the first place? refiman1
If info was reinserted the bureaus, by law, have to notify you within 5 days by mail notifying you of the reinsertion under the FACTA law. You can redispute claiming untimely notification under FACTA regarding the reinsertion.
