Goodwill Letter for Paid Collections

Hey Guys,

I have tried and tried and tried to dispute off 2 paid collections of DH's credit reports and they just keep coming back verified. So now, Plan B. Goodwill letter.

I did some research, and the company has it's own website, with their current president listed. A little more research and some googling, I found the president's email 8-). Should I send by email or by snail mail?

I just wanted to see what y'all thought before I sent it either way.

Dear Mr. Shaw,

I am writing to you in the hopes that you will provide me with a gesture of goodwill in regards to two accounts that I previously had with you.

In 2002 I had moved to Colorado with the ambition of starting a new job. I had moved there from Maryland, and I was on my own. Unfortunately, the first job put me on sabbatical, and the second one laid me off. I was young, far away from home and family, and had to use both Penrose and Memorial Health Hospitals. Being laid off, I could not afford to pay my bills and they were referred to your company. I was able to pay off these debts completely and in full.

I have since then, moved back to Virginia and have gotten married just this past year. My wife and I are hoping to buy a house but with your company listing both of my paid accounts on my Equifax, Transunion and Experian credit reports, it will be very difficult for us to be able to do this.

I am asking you, if you could delete these tradelines from my reports, as an act of goodwill.

Thank you,

virginiabound's DH

Do you think there is enough sappiness in there for him to delete? xangelx

:please:
