ok im not getting anywhere with EX and TU. and its been since august. every dispute now they call frivolous. the goodwill letters arent working either. what can i do?

how do i put a security freeze on ex and tu?

i have 10 baddies on EX still. out of 14.. 10 left bleh. and about 25 inqs.

TU still has 11 baddies out of 14....and about 20 inqs...

what else can i do?

ive tried not mine a bunch of times. tried goodwill letters...

and most of these accounts i paid in settlement back in may 2007. which i shouldnt have done since they went to CO in 2004-2005, and now it updated and wont be off my report until longer if i left it there. (BLEH)

im lost as to where to go next....

Well for TransUnion you have to change your dispute reason after they verify your accounts. If you dont they say your disputes are frivolous. So next time change up your reason like Date Opened wrong, Wrong Balance, Credit Limit Wrong. Ect.... Far as Experian goes they are more than likely going to lock you out of their system and tell you "we already verified". Your best bet is to dispute with the OC under FCRA 623(a)(8) since they already verified already. What happens when you dispute directly with the Original Creditor they have to respond to your dispute with in 30days if the OC chooses not to investigate they have to let you know your dispute frivolous after 5days of recevieng your letter. And if they dont respond at all after the 30days has past FCRA Violation. $1,000 fine. And rember always send your mail Certifed Mail this is how you get a paper trail. Hope this helps.

I saw someone posting on the board recommendations for sending a dispute letter every two weeks or so and including just a few things each time. This is why that isn't a good idea, just still it all in one letter, wait the 30 days and then see where you are.

And yes, you must change the reasoning each time or they will simply say "frivolous" or "already verified". I just avoid the online and phone disputing and do everything via CMRRR letter.

I'm guessing you will have to go the FCRA route now and dispute with the OC as was suggested.

What specific accounts are you disputing and what is your reason for the dispute?

im disputing paid chargeoffs that they OC's never deleted. the agreement i had with them, was if i paid them, they would delete them. yea i kinda got screwed in that dept.
