CloudX
This may seem like a stupid question, and the answer is something I have probably missed, but want to go ahead and ask it none the less. I sent a DV to academy collections on october 29. I received a generic letter stating they will do what i asked and cease any communications until they get the info for me. That letter was on the 14th of November. I sent on the 14th of december my second DV to them (stating that have not verified the debt and need to delete the collections.) Being now a good few weeks later, and not receiving anything from them, and yet its still on my CR (but shows disputed) what is my next step? I ask this because, I truly do not want to go to court over this (even though I mentioned suite in my 2nd letter ). I just want my credit fixed. Do I send a letter to the CRAs and just continue to wait, or do I send a third letter? Thanks in advance....CloudX
StressPot
Did you ever send letters to the CRA's to dispute with them? The CA violates if they do not Validate with you, and instead validate with the CRA's.When that happens, you send the happy letter to the CA telling them of the FCRA violations and ask them politely one more time to delete or else.Did I miss part of the story?StressPot:)++
CloudX
As of now, no. But should be getting those out today then. I had a feeling that is what I should do
