Is this program worth my while? (Credit Keeper by HSBC)

HSBC Orchard Bank offers this program called "Credit Keeper". It is an online only offer from the bank. For $9.99 a month you basically can check your credit report or reports and score as many times as you would like without having to worry about it negatively affecting your credit. For the first thirty days its free. Sounds good to me considering I am starting to clean up alot of things on my credit, and Ive heard accessing your credit reports can negatively affect your credit. Figured this way i can use this to monitor my reports closely.

Just would like to hear some outside opinions on this matter before I do anything. I like the idea but I also know how card companies can blow smoke up you nowhere. Last thing i want is my credit taking another bad turn. Just now recovering from my stupid mistakes from when i was younger.

but any input on this would be greatly appreciated.

I agree it bites! Can only pull once a month not worth the money.

When I compared it to the hard copies from the CRA the information was way off. I just cancelled them last week.

True credit seems to be the way to go.......I've been using Privacy Matters 123 and I'm not happy with them either. Alot of discrepancies too!

Yeah i searched Ture Credit on here and found it. Sounds good. I only need something like that for about the next 3 or 4 months. But I believe I alreadys know the answer to this question but just to reiterate. Using Truecredit from Transunion will not affect credit and what not for pulling credit report. Correct.
