angielynne
I have been slowly working to help me dad clean up his credit report over the past 3-4 months. So far he has gone from a 506 to a 550! I pulled his report today and just noticed that one particular original collector has reported simutaneously in november to both transunion and equifax but the amounts they reported were different...The high balance on each is different (see below) TransUnion Experian Equifax Past Due: $0 High Balance: $12762 $10000 Terms: Limit : $0 $0 Payment: $0 Opened: 09/01/2001 09/2001 09/2001 Reported: 11/13/2007 10/31/2006 11/2007 Responsibility: Individual Individual IndividualThis was actually sold to another collector and then settled, but I'd like to get this deleted off his report. Is there any grounds for doing so seeing as they reported to each CRA in Oct 2 different high balance amounts and they no longer own this debt and it has been paid since? What should I do? lovebug5
Dispute 'em with the CRA's on the basis that you want them disputed for completeness and accuracy.
