angielynne
I've got about 8 negative tradelines listed from the same agency. It's legit as these are from a number of surgeries over the past couple years and I wasn't able to pay the balances at that time. I've paid most of them off and am currently paying on the rest. The problem is that these make up the majority of negatives on my CR and the agency said that they don't delete off of the report in any circumstance. Is there anything I can do or am I screwed? lovebug5
Since you've already made payment arrangements on the accounts without any agreement to delete, IMO you're going to have to attempt to hit them with a goodwill letter..
Moneedshelp
Might be tricky to get rid of the accounts. I think there was some info on the site about making attempts to getting paid collection accounts deleted.
myscoresawful
Get them paid off first. You already know there's nothing you can do before that is done, and this will, in the end, show the hospital your good faith.I would suggest talking with the hospital after they are paid. Point out how you struggled, but in the end made good on their faith in you to pay what you owe, when so many others never pay even after lawsuit, etc. (Hospitals have to be the worst when it comes to collections recovery). Plead with them as a GW gesture, to have the reporting removed. Explain that you know they don't have to, but also know that they can make this happen. The CA *will* do what the hospital tells them to do, don't let anyone tell you otherwise, the CAs receive thousands of dollars in collections each month from hospitals, they are not going to piss them off, CAs work for the OC. (I've had many a different CA and OC tell me this). It might not work, but you never know if you don't try, and it won't up and remove it'self if you don't try either.Good luck. angielynne
Thanks. I have 6 of the accounts paid off and am currently working on the last 2. They should be paid off in about 3-4 months and then I will send the hospital a letter and see what happens. SHould I send it to the billing department or do I send it to the higher up?
