Untimely DV Success!!!!

Recommended Posts

Allright everyone, ive been researching and scouring this website for an answer to the "Untimely DV" problem that some people have. I recently did the 1-2 punch with 3 neg TL with all 3 CRA and 3 different CA's. All were WITHIN the SOL and all were "Untimely" and so far all have been deleted off of my TU and EX reports. Now im just waiting to hear back from CSC "equifax" for the final results. So the question has been posed and no one seems to have an answer but i tell you now that IT WORKED. If you are in TX i say go for it. There is no such thing as UNTIMELY in TX as per the TX financial code. Finally id like to thank Amerikaner and Fizzle1979 and anyone else who has helped me with thier extensive knowledge. Good luck...YALL!

Yeah, I want to know how you all pulled off such great laws down there. 8-) Congrats!

Even though I didn't have the law behind me like you did, I sent out untimely DVs to all of my baddies during the first round. I was really surprised at how quickly and easily some of them folded. One of them deleted and then promptly sold the debt to another JDB. Thanks for the do-over guys! The new JDB was the recipient of my first ever timely DV letter. Haven't heard a peep from them and they never reported.

There's no such thing as an untimely TX DV. One of a billion reasons to love TX!

I'm glad you got the results you wanted.

Actually, if a debt collector responds to your request as untimely, you can respond by saying they are under violation of the FCRA by reporting your debt as inaccurate and demand again that they verify. This usually will scare them enough that they will go through the validation.
