Hello Im confused...

I have some debts that should fall off my report by 11/2008.

I have read some forums that have said not to DV the TL's and to just wait it out because it may stay on my credit report longer.

And then I have read many that say to DV all and try to get them off now.

So my question is:

Do I send DV letters off to all CA and CRA or do I just wait it out?

Thanks for your time!

Welcome! :)++

All really depends on your particular situation. Unless you are absolutely sure that they are due to fall off and you are not trying to obtain a mortgage I would say to wait. However, it really depends on your particular situation. Have any of these on your CR contacted you? Are any judgements? Those would have a longer reporting time. Would need more info to offer more suggestions.

well thats a story in itself as well....

Yes some have called and sent letters BUT I found out that my brother and sister in law I guess had put down that I was married to my brother in law and got a couple Providian credit cards in my name. I now have 5 providian acounts now on my report. I was shocked!

I explianed that I never had a card with them! Nor was I ever married to my brother in law! And I never lived in the town that they live in. But it still remains on my account!
