myscoresawful
I just got them off my last CR, how long do you think it will be before I receive a pre approval from them?!of course I'm pretty sure to throw it away, but I've heard people remark that they got 500CL with them 2 years after claiming a previous card with them on BK.I take it they don't keep a black list? It's still on my report. It will be for another couple of months. I just got approved for a $500 card. 0% interest on purchases for 5 months. I guess they don't blacklist. I'm thinking that I only got $300 because my income is not a lot? else it could be my score just isn't up there yet or something...don't know which they pulled. For me they pulled all of the CR's (grrr). I figured I got the low limit because I settled for less than balance in the past, so they were sort of making me earn the credit. My scores range from very low 600s occasionally dipping into the 500s (EX) to 645-656 (EQ). TU is around 620.
dazedandconfusedincali
Why would you want a credit card with them if they sued you?
myscoresawful
Why would you want a credit card with them if they sued you? basically, I wanted to see if they would do it again or if they kept black lists..I will max out the card the first month and then pay it off immediately afterwards. You see, Crap 1 reports your CL as your highest balance. So, max it out so that it reports a CL of $300.00, then pay it off so that it shows minimal usage in order to have a positive TL out of it. The way I will max it out, is to pay off my other CC that I would have paid with the cash, then turn around and pay of the crap 1 card, this will help both TLs.Then, it goes into the sock drawer and doesn't get used ...except maybe every couple of months charge a tank of gas on it and pay it off right away, this is done to keep the card active. TU's still shows my pre-CLI limit of $1000...
chucksnee
I guess it depends on when TU updates? I just wish Citi bank would do the same....
