intera1
I am in rebuilding stage and I applied online to Walmart and was denied for a CL about 4 months ago. They only pulled TU. What would anyone think my chances would be in getting GE-WM to remove their Inquiry? Would I say I didn't mean to apply or didn't understand or just "please?", or I don't remember applying? TU is reporting the info I gave them (An updated address and phone number) on my report.
pointman
What happens at TU depends on which way the sand is blowing in India on any given day. I politely argued with a TU rep for a good 45 minutes over an inquiry one day, the whole time she's telling me that she can't take it off and I should ask the OC to remove it. I asked for her supervisor and she basically told me the same thing; ask the OC to remove it. At the end of our three-way conversation, I reminded them that we had been on the phone for a total of 53 minutes and that their time could have been spent more efficiently if they had just agreed to take it off in the first place. They agreed and asked me if there was anything else they could help me with... I said, "YES; would you please remove the inquiry now?" No. I pulled TC two days later and it was gone. That was the third time in 4 months that TU reps refused to agree (over the phone) to do something and then did it anyway. Give it a shot. Just be prepared to listen hard...
