hizark21
I went to pay my credit card online this evening and discovered a late fee from Chase. I am very irritated because the statement online told me that payment was due on 1/7/08.. I had checked earlier and this was the case and the web site showed this. But when I went to look at my credit card bill the billing date had changed to 1/6/07. On top of all this I had paid my bill before midnight so I was technically on time PST. But since Chase is a east coast company they told me that it was late since they were on EST. I asked a supervisor to waive the fee and they told me there was nothing they can do.So how can I file a dispute and will this do any good. I save a copy of the web page, but I am uncertain if this will do any good. I suppose Chase can claim I altered the page. But this seems very petty of Chase.
