klyn
Suppose this was your case.FCNB went out of business or whatever in 2003 … maybe they filed bankruptcy. You are in a legal suit, and you have no way to subpoena anything. You’re relying on the attorney to provide you with the name and address of the original creditor, but he delays his answer and your hearing becomes closer and closer to the time. In fact, he produces nothing, so you move for the court to compel discovery. Blah, blah, blah.My question is if FCNB perhaps did file bankruptcy, how can I figure out whether they used my account for any type of money off or whatever it would be for money off in taxes or anything like that?
