YoUrFrIeNdMiKe Posted January 8, 2008 Author Report Share Posted January 8, 2008 but it was in re to a car loan that i paid off early, but the OC was and is reporting 2 accounts with a similar account number. and 2 30 day late payments on each. there was only 1 account. and the payment history should only be showing 1 30 day late. but e-oscar apparently keeps verifying the erroneous information. all comments welcome and thank you guys. i will have to pull the file to find a copy of the letter that i sent then. i am at work and not near the file now, will be in late tonight early morning EST. OOPS now they are sending me 2 certified letters which i need to sign for and pick up.i already paid off the loan. i guess i might as well finish or continue what i started by picking up the letters? YoUrFrIeNdMiKe Posted March 29, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 29, 2008 I ultimately went the route of goodwill letter to creditor. the lates were around the time of the hurricaines (natural disaster) they wrote back said they were notifying all of the bureaus, even gave me a copy of the UCR report that the used to update the info with the bureaus.
