Okay, here's the sit. I DV'ed a couple of my luminaries: NCO, Arrow and Palisades. I asked for vaildation and basically told them that since they couldn't validate because the accounts aren't mine, they need to remove from my CRs. The problem: I sent these letters out on December 29th CMRRR and I haven't gotten the cards back!!! So, these bast**rds don't pick up their mail. How long do I wait before giving up and re-sending these letters??? Maybe to a different address (though I used the ones on my CRs).

Argh!!! This is frustrating.

What adreess did you use for NCO & Palisades? They are very good at signing for mail in a timely fashion. Thats about the only thing there good at!

I used a Sylvan Ave address in Englewood NJ for Palisades. For NCO I used a PO Box address. They're local for me and I'd heard that they no longer were at the Horsham address. The Philly PO Box seemed a better bet. I don't remember the box no. I'll have to look when I get to my office.

Have you also checked with your local post office? I had the same thing happen with one of my accounts and they were able to trace it back. The post office also informed me that if I had not received the card back in 30 days, they would refund me the cost of sending it certified. Fortunately, they were able to trace it and it was picked up in a timely fashion but somehow was misplaced. I have also learned from this forum to send these letters "UPS" or other such carriers as most of the collection agencies will sign for them not knowing the contents! 8-) I use this method when I am needing to clean up information immediately! :)++

I just checked online at USPS. Palisades got the letter, I guess I'll just have to wait for the card. I also was looking at EX. Palisades has deleted from there. I can't get into a free credit report to find out for Transunion due to ongoing disputes. This wasn't deleted last night, so I suspect it just happened. I guess I'll have to wait for tonight's TC pull to find out about TU.

As far as NCO goes, the USPS notes that the letter was forwarded, so hopefully it means it still has a chance of getting to NCO. It stymies me as to why NCO has it's address on all my credit reports as PO Box 41466, Philadelphia, PA 19101 if the Horsham address is still valid. That Philly address is everywhere on TC and on the official hard copies from the CRAs. If something doesn't happen in the next week. I'm gonna re-send to the Horsham address.

While we are talking about NCO. I have 3 different NCO's on my reports. NCO/99, NCO/51 and NCO/22. Does anyone know what this is about?

I too received "letter was forwarded" on my return receipts from the USPS and am also hoping NCO does in fact receive my letter.

Yeah, mine comes up as NCO/99, but when I look at the actual credit reports it's NCO Financial Systems.
