maddashell
Is their a way to answer a information subpoena with out really answering it . Talk about an unfair advantadge, you have to tell the crooks (jdb)s your bank account #s. Stark&Stark man those guys really get me. now you know where MADDASHELL comes from. Anyone had any dealings with the jerks from starks and can they be chewed down on a 4800.00 default judgment. and what would be a good offer. Here in New Jersey it seems if you dont answer this subpoena that they can come and arrest oneself.that must be only in nj that to sounds crazy. trueq
I'd file to vacate or appeal. Then negotiate. If you just ignored notice and allowed them defaut judgement, answering the info sup. is a good idea. You could call and negotiate. They do not want to drag you into court to compel answers They just want to get paid. I'd start at 30% and maybe they will settle for 50%. Get a satisfaction of judgment though! You could ignore it, but they will drap you in for a hearing and judge will order you to answer, and you will have to answer at that point
one who knows
to madashell, the best advise then i can give to you is to answer the ifs and return to the atty asap. after you have sent the ifs, then you can begin to try tosttle, because at this point must collection attys in nj won't settle until they see the answers to the ifs.with regard to the threat of arrest, you can't be physically arrested(handcuffed). this a civil case, not a criminal,if you are told that there is a warrant for your arrest, then you must then go to county courthouse and ans the ifs at that time.
