DV Response from Arrow.......need help

Recommended Posts

at least they respond back to you :p

do this:

Request an investigation, pursuant to section 623 of the FCRA. The process is illustrated under the "dispute with original creditors" link on the top of the page, but it should work with any data furnisher. They have 30 days to get back to you...just like with the CRAs...

That just may work for you.

The letter only gave me balance info and said they would still contact me. They list date opened and balace and the date they purchased it from HSBC.

This is on Arrow letterhead, so how do I know its correct??? Even if I was untimely.....

HELP please, not sure where to go here. Do I send Arrow the investigation letter or something else?

Thanks

BS

dispute with the CRAs...when it comes back as "verified", then send an investigation per section 623 of the FCRA....

Same procedure as disputing with the original creditor...link at the top of this page, right side.

http://creditinfocenter.com/repair/DisputingWithOriginalCreditor.shtml <----Though it says "orginal creditor", the same thing applies to Arrow or anyone else who furnishes data on a person's CR.

Not sure if this will work for you but when I received that letter from Arrow I filed a complaint with the BBB because I never received a bill or letter from Arrow prior to me disputing. It took almost a month but I have received a letter stating that they will remove themselves from my credit report and send verification. I have faxed this letter to the CRA and I am now waiting to see if it will be removed. If not I have proof that they agreed and I should be good to go in court.
