rainbabies10
I just received my first response letter to my DV letter I emailed to NCO. I included the account number and my current address in the email. This is the response: ( the Caps are my little interjections)Thank you for your recent communication. We are committed to assisting you, however we have been unable to locate the matter you have referenced from the information we have been provided. Please provide us with further identifying information, such as your social security number, the name of the original creditor ( UMM ISN'T THIS WHAT I'M ASKING THEM?? ) a copy of your most recent credit report displaying the entry or reference number and the billing address ( I PROVIDED MY ADDRESS ALREADY, WHERE DO THEY THINK THEY ARE MAILING IT? LOL) A copy of any correspondence you have received from us would also be of assistance. ( LOL THEY DON'T KEEP UP WITH THEIR OWN RECORDS?)And then there's some blah blah blah at the bottom. So, what should I do with this? Should I just send them into the 3 credit bureas and ask them to remove it? Is this letter sufficient? Thanks,Angie
jetscarbie
I wouldn't send them squat. They are wanting you to validate the bill. It just means they can't.Send another DV by CMRRR. Attache the first one you sent and tell them that they haven't validated.....you want the tradeline removed immedately. Dispute this accounts with the CRA>
Robert Nashville/Savannah
I think that letter is of the type that deserve a very "special' reply....just to have the fun of rubbing their nose in their own stupidity.Somnething like..."I ran out to my mail box and confirmed that my address is "XXX" which is where you sent your correspondence asking for my address".Of course, the problem is that they are probably too stupid to recognize just how stupid they are.
