Donna47129
Hey guys,I pulled my FICO from truecredit.com on 12/19, my TU was 623.I pulled my FICO from truecredit.com on 01/11, my TU was 623, no change.I copied below from the website. You can see that I had two accounts that I disputed and the dates reported updated to 2008, making it appear to be a new account. There was absolutely no change in my score.I have read a bunch on here that one of the downfalls of disputing or paying off a debt is that it will update and look like a new collection and hurt your score. This isn't the case as below...so am I missing something? There were no other changes in the month.PS> My FAKO changed on EX, not TU and these weren't listed on EQ.TransUnion 623 1/11/2008 2/15/2008 View 623 12/19/2007 1/11/08:Collection agency [?] XXXXOriginal balance [?] $109 Current balance [?] $84 Status [?] Not Reported Date assigned [?] Sep 01, 2002 Date reported [?] Jan 04, 2008 Date closed [?] Jan 04, 2008 Original lender [?] XXXXAccount number [?] XXX8043 Account holder [?] Individual Collection on debt to: XXXXThe collection agency "XXXX" was hired to collect a debt of $97 originally owed to "XXXX" on account number "XXX1183".Collection agency [?] XXXXOriginal balance [?] $97 Current balance [?] $88 Status [?] Not Reported Date assigned [?] Feb 23, 2005 Date reported [?] Jan 01, 2008 Original lender [?] XXXX Account number [?] XXX1183 Account holder [?] Individual Collection on debt to: XXXXThe collection agency "XXXX" was hired to collect a debt of $88 originally owed to "XXXX" on account number "XXX8066". 12/19/07:Collection agency [?] XXXXOriginal balance [?] $97 Current balance [?] $97 Status [?] Not Reported Date assigned [?] Feb 23, 2005 Date reported [?] Apr 25, 2005 Original lender [?] XXXXAccount number [?] XXX1183 Account holder [?] Individual Collection on debt to: XXXXThe collection agency "XXXX" was hired to collect a debt of $109 originally owed to "XXXX" on account number "XXX8043".Collection agency [?] XXXXOriginal balance [?] $109 Current balance [?] $84 Status [?] Not Reported Date assigned [?] Sep 01, 2002 Date reported [?] Jun 01, 2003 Original lender [?] XXXXAccount number [?] XXX8043 Account holder [?] Individual
lovebug5
The date reported is the date that the CA's in question last updated some new information. These dates do not reflect any type of change with the account, nor do these dates reflect that the account appears to be a new account. Instead, based upon your disputes, the CRA's updated the record in January.
jetscarbie
Real FICO's move very very slow.I had 2 CA deleted and it took over a month to change the score.
