2001Badyear
No, nothing illegal here, but want to help my niece get her reports and help her clean up the rather minor problems she has. She has no credit cards currently, so I'd like to use mine, but not sure if that's legal. With her permission and I have her SS# etc.. can I just pull and then go over with her? Or can I give her my CC# to pull herself? She's in Florida, so we need to do this over the net. I'd like to directly access, initially, so I can print to PDF and help her organize what she has. rmuse00
Yes you can. If you do it for her you might want her on the phone while you are doing it. They might ask some verifying questions and if you do not answer correctly you could get yourself locked out due to a security breach. I pulled DH's with my credit card. 2001Badyear
Have her go to www.annualcreditreport.com.Good idea, but........She evidently did so some time back and recalls nothing and didn't print anything. That's part of why I'd like to do this for her, at least until I can get her comfortable working through it.Muse, will we have a problem because her and my last names are different, unlike your situation with the DH? sgip2000
Equifax is easy to get for free. Just gotta use the "Turned down for credit" form.

Cost is not the issue here. I'll pay whatever to get her going and straightened out early in life. I'm using CS through my Amex, but what is the best all around (with scores on all three) since she can't do this? FAKO's are fine at this stage. 2001Badyear
Agreed. I thought by setting up an annual, she could keep an eye on it and so could I. Just want to sign on for something that will be recurring and bill me for her. She doesn't have a lot of money being just out of college, so I'd like to cover all of this. sgip2000
What kind of monitoring are you looking for? Monthly? Daily? There are many options.TrueCredit has monitoring of all 3 for about $15 per month, but if you just want one time reports, those run about $10 each. 2001Badyear
I suspect daily for now, since I have no idea what hers will look like. She will not need to pull daily, I don't suspect, but would like more than monthly.
