tmac01
I had my first 30 day late in over 8 years with Dillards. As I looked back I really did miss my December payment as I pay all bills online and I just over looked it. I just called Dillards and was honest about missing my payment and they put me on hold and said " okay we reversed it ! you should see a change on your CR in about 10 -14 days. " They then said they were going to send me a letter to state this change. Wow that late killed my score by 45 points.....WHEEEEWWWWW !!!!! That was close..... tmac01
I have been a good customer and my payment was just $15 so I was really down over this but this is the first time this has worked for me. I always try it when I get pulled over for speeding but honesty has never worked then

I always try it when I get pulled over for speeding but honesty has never worked then Officer: Do you know why I pulled you over?Honest Person: I was texting my friend I just left at the bar and wasn't paying attention to my speed, which was obviously over.Yeah, probably wouldn't work. chucksnee
Honesty worked for me, I wrote a letter to a Time Warner executive and explained my situation. I now have a letter from Time Warner saying they no longer have any record of me and will delete the charge off from my credit report.
