cheyenne52883
I am considering just paying some of these old debts in order to get them off my credit...Should I start with the oldest or the newest? Does it matter?Should I offer payments or balance in full?
NYMatt
Are they with the OC or a CA ?
cheyenne52883
I have a Cap 1 which is still with the OC and some others that are CA...
NYMatt
I would try and work something out with Cap1 before they discharge it to a CA.As far as the ones already at a CA it would depend a lot on which CA. A lot of CA's want the total payment right away. Some of them can get very nasty and intimidating , making false statements to scare you. cheyenne52883
Cap 1 is old... DOLA was 8/2004... Wouldn't they have sent that to a CA by now if that was their intention.I just noticed that the DOFD is blank.... Should I dispute that?
NYMatt
I guess you could see what the SOL is.
cheyenne52883
Don't I need the DOFD to figure out the SOL? If it's blank then I don't know when it is...
