Repossession

Recommended Posts

I had a car repossessed by Mitsubishi back in Nov. 2001. On my credit report it shows up as Paid and transferred to another lender on all three bureaus. Now I am getting calls from a collection agency by the name of Pallino Receivables but they aren't reporting to the bureaus. What should I do? I have not returned their calls and have not received anything in the mail.

Sounds like it's being reported as a positive TL. When is is scheduled to drop off? You are beyond SOL for FL written contract so you can FOAD 'em or DV.

Before engaging with Pallino in any way, the OP needs to check whether there is a judgment against him or her in the county clerk/recorder's offices of any counties where he or she lived between the time of the repo and today.

No judgments ... FOAD to Pallino. Judgment ... oops ... come back here and talk about what to do next.
