2001Badyear
WOW. What an incredible read. I knew it was bad, but this was real eye opener for me. Everyone should take the time to read this report by the leading Consumer Advocacy Attorney (that's us, by the way) in the US to Congress about the state of and massive problems with FCRA and CRA's, practices. I know I will change the way I write letters to CRA's now, among other good information.

jasen
The CRAs Never Conduct a ‘Reinvestigation’ and Always ‘Parrot’ their Creditor-customers I thought this was common knowledge? They don't investigate anything, they simply ask the creditor who reported the tradeline "Is this right?" And of course, they answer is always "YES". It's all automated of course. E-Oscar? E-Oscar?This is very informative but very discouraging....how anyone triumphs I have no idea!to all you people (and me eventually) who are fighting back, my hat's off to you...the success stories seem even more successful in light of the shenanigans of the CRA's!
