Can you speed in Nevada?

I have a lead Foot :mrgreen:

Then you need to go to Montana!! For a while, they didn't have a speed limit, at least in the daytime. I think the Feds made them post one, but the fines are minimal.

At least, that was the situation the last time my friends went there.

Ya I know my friend lived there for a while.

The speed was unlimited during daylight and 70 from dusk til dawn.

My little RR likes to do 140 MPH but the police don't. LOL

"Arizona state budget counts on anticipated speeding fines to help erase a projected revenue shortfall."

:)++

In Ohio a few years ago, raising the speed limit for trucks was up for consideration again and was shot down (states with a split speed limit have more accidents involving cars and trucks where the car driver is at fault by the way). One sheriff in north western Ohio actually stated on the news that he was against raising the truck speed limit because his county would lose too much revenue from speeding tickets issued to trucks. So much for a bogus safety issue, its all about the $$.

Arizona-speeding fines to make up shortfall....hmmmm! It has been tried in my state and we are still $18 billion short!!! Got a speeding ticket in Oct-$256.00 plus traffic school. I'd like to go to LV but could never explain that to the BF-Hello, my name is.....I am a closet CIC junkie with poor(well now it is fair) credit...someday, there may be a 12 step program...SIGH....
