Politics, Religion, and Nascar....? (Daytona 500 post)

Maybe discussing favorite drivers should be banned with religion and politics. I'm a fan of all sports. I'm excited about the Aussie Open, Super Bowl coming up and my dream job is the coach Gonzaga basketball.

Anyways. I'm especially excited about the upcoming Daytona 500.

Yay for Jeff Gordon.

racing season is starting soon??? great!!! My marrage will be placed on hold soon :)

I might just get the hold hobby car out this year, the boss man said he be willing to front some $$$

Also, just for the record. Gordon sucks. Any man that can speak in complete, understandable sentances does NOT belong in nascar ;)

I agree Jeff Gordon Sucks! Tony Stewart is going to win the Daytona 500 this year.

WooHoo! Yay Nascar!

I never actually watched an entire race until last year. I guess moving south of the the Mason Dixon line it's kind of a right of passage

In our house, we each have our own driver. My DH roots for Matt Kenseth. I used to work at Home Depot so I found it my obligation to root for Smoke. And my dad (who's still in Canada) roots for Jeff Gordon. Why? Because everyone hates him

We finally got cable, so I'm excited to watch Daytona where I don't have to put a coat hanger on the rabbit ears, just to get a somewhat unfuzzy picture. :D

I've lived in the south most of my adult life. I still can't see why a bunch of guys driving in circles is so fascinating. Some people are just easily amused I guess.

"Hey Bubba, what did I miss when I went outside to yell at the dog?"

"Well, Junior passed a bunch of people, and then he stopped for new tires, and then he went out and drove some more."

"Wow."
