Ravenous Wolf
My three year old loved to watch Ed, Edd, and Eddy and that was his favorite show. The next favorite was Camp Lazlo. But when they moved Courage the Cowardly Dog around, my son started watching it. Most cartoons are intended for little kids but this one has more adult themes to it with clean humor. That is now my son's favorite cartoon and I have to admit that it is fun for an adult to watch.Camp Lazlo is definitely intended for kids but once in a while, I can almost see the parental humor that they sometimes insert in there. Hellard
"I dont want my own good!" line from camp lazlo when they took the guys marshmellows away...they told him it was for his own good....My 9 year old loves that show. I use that line quite often myself..ha ha
Ravenous Wolf
The funny thing is that I too am starting to quotes from cartoons like Camp Lazlo, Courage, etc... Scoutmaster Lumpus is full of stuff that I sometimes catch myself saying...And from Courage, I now say STUPID DOG when my wife's dog doesn't want to come inside the house at night... rmuse00
Looks like you're getting to be a real pro on the kid's stuff Wolfy! Kids tv sometimes rules our house too. My kids use to watch Courage. They would try calling each other "stupid" and if they knew DH or I was listening they'd quickly slip in and add "dog" to it so we'd think they were just repeating the cartoon line. Didn't work. Didn't work. That is the funny thing about parenthood... Kids tv is on more often than regular television... We only have two television sets... One in the family room and one in the upstairs loft and absolutely none in any bedroom (including ours)... So kids tv is rules our house most of the time...Saying STUPID DOG has just been such a common catch phrase for me as well as other lines from other cartoons...
