Who does AIG pull?

Recommended Posts

I guess they are.

The furniture store uses them as a second or third financing company. Wells Fargo is first, and they turned me down :(

WELLS FARTGO SUCKS!!! I paid on time with them for years and they always denied me credit, I couldn't even get 500 bucks, or a credit card, so now I DOn't give them business, i gave them a ton in interest, so don't feel bad!!! PAID ON TIME, NEVER LATE

Well, I don't think I'll be looking to them for anything anytime soon. They denied me and AG pulled the same report and gave me the money. How about that.

Update:

American general approved me. Yeah. 3 years no interest. monthly payments. Yeah. I'm excited. Yeah. Can you tell I'm excited. Yeah!!!!

Bumping an old thread...

I said I wasn't going to finance a bed, but I am DYING of soreness. And I really don't want to pitch away $300-$600 for a bed that I don't really want. Anyone know what kind of scores are needed to get approved with AIG? That's who the furniture store here uses and they have the cheapest price in the state on the bed I need.

Also, I have a wayyyy late credit card on my file, one that my ex and I made joint (big mistake). It became his per our divorce. I will have "my" (joint) card paid off next week and then will close it (never late). He is finally making payments on "his", but I know they won't look kindly on all those lates. :( Any thoughts? I NEED a bed.

eta: I bit the bullet and applied. I've been in pain for two months and the ex's credit card will take weeks for me to get rid of, if my efforts even work. I haven't been denied outright; the app came back as needing "further review" (I have a fraud alert). I hope this means I have a shot.

eta: nevermind. Denied.

Is saving a few months of discomfort really worth paying interest and finance charges and not paying the bed off for a year or more? Just pretend like you're already paying on it and put that money aside. You'll have cash to buy what you want outright before you'd have had it paid off.

In this case, yes. I do massage work in addition to my full-time job. Things are getting painful to the point that I can't do that kind of work right now. It's a very bad thing. You can't put a price on restful sleep/being free of pain.

Maybe MO will answer. It looks like they pull EQ in TX and TU in LA, OK is close to both, so it's anyone's guess. I agree a good bed is worth it's weight in gold. There's nothing worse then a crappy mattress.
