Heath Ledger found dead

Recommended Posts

I can see this one is going to have twists & turns.

Better go visit TMZ!

Still a very sad thing for his wife & kids. Wasn't his wife the one from Dawson's Creek? Michelle Williams?

Yeah, she's the one. However they were not married. They were engaged and had recently called it off.

Gotta keep up with the tabloids!

Was just reading a news article about it. I've got to say it,there is no such thing whatsoever as an "accidental drug overdose" No one does drugs accidentally. It seems that whenever a celebrity O.D.'s it gets reported that way. He was a good actor and I enjoyed his movies though.

So if someone took more than the prescribed/recommended amount of a drug not knowing what the full effect would be....thats not considered an accident?

In other words...if I take 6 Tylenol instead of the "recommended" 2 and I were to somehow die as a result...thats not an accident?

Please splain...enlighten me. Let me state that I am in no way trying to start conflict or raise an uproar...just not quite sure I understand your reasoning. ;)

most od's ARE accidental. when one starts using, it only takes a little to get the "high" they are looking for. then , as the body accommodates, it takes more and more to reach the high until they reach the threshold that the body cannot take. also, in the case of illicit drugs, the strength of the drug varies dramatically from one supplier to the other. it depends on how much the "pure" stuff is cut. true, they make the decision to start, but once that is done, it's just a matter of time until an "accident" happens.
