Is a Judgment easier or harder to dispute on a credit report than BK or a tradeline?

I am just curious, and don't have a judgment on my credit report yet, but it may very well be coming.

I was just wondering in the scope of things how hard or easy it is to dispute a judgment on a credit report as compared to a BK or a tradeline.

Thank you

BK is the stickiest. Takes 2 seconds to verify on PACER.

Judgments ... sticky if unpaid, not so sticky if paid. They don't update regularly like OC, CA and JDB TLs, the moving finger writes and having writ moves on. If you knock it off, chances are it's not coming back.

TLs ... sticky if fresh, not so sticky if older, but if they get reported again they can come back.

Harder...

Judgment, and other Public Records, exist in the PUBLIC RECORDS department/section of your local courthouse. They are open to viewing by anyone and everyone and are easily scanned for sale to secondary databases like LexisNexis, Choicepoint and Hogan where they are re-sold, and verified, to the CRA's.

So you have (at least) two databases to work on, plus the original record. Even if you do succeed in getting a PR shielded from view, it can reappear anytime during it's valid Reporting Period - but then the CRA would have to comply with the whole re-insertion thing.

A BK is also a public record that can be viewed via any of the databases mentioned above. This is why, following a BK, you'll get years of mail that are pre-printed with post BK "rebuilding" credit programs. The hoarders of data sell these lists.
