justagirl003
Is your credit score affected if you call and request to change the payment due date on a card you're current with? I'm only asking because I got dinged with a late payment fee on my Best Buy account this month. The payment was due the Jan 13th, I paid it the 15th. Amerikaner83
no your credit score is not affected. Your score is only affected if you pay 30 days or more late. A late fee from Best buy has no effect on your scores.

CleverCynic
yeah but don't expect a CLI from best buy anytime soon
justagirl003
Thanks! My current limit is $1800 so if they don't increase it for awhile that is perfectly fine with me since I don't plan on making any major purchases from them anytime soon. TTigggers
Call and ask for forgiveness they may wipe out the late payment fee for you.
