thegame26
I just finished applying for a Best Buy Mastercard. At the end it said I was approved and that my card and account details would be mailed to me in 7-14 days. I've never had this happen before, if I'm approved why not tell me my account number and credit limit right then so I can start using it.This happen to anyone else? Krash
If it says you are approved then you are approved, I have never seen anyone that has been approved and not had anything sent, that is just how they do things, you can go to orchard bank.com and see where it says check status, and see if it tells you your status, it is HSBC as well, i know it shows me with a plat card but i can't get it because I have two hsbc cards already
Moneedshelp
I had same with Best Buy, I think I called and got the limit that day, I told them I was interested in using the card to purchase something in the store that day. If you are approved IN store, you can find out limit and use card immediately. Otherwise you have to wait.Call HSBC and find out what the limit is. They should tell you.GL

I can wait the 1-2 weeks. I just found it weird. Every other card I've applied for online and got approved for gave me the info right then and there. ACES
Does HSBC/Best Buy evaluate you for the Master card first and then just the store card or do you pick the one you want? When I applied for my Target card and I think I remember them saying they would first consider me for the Visa and offer me the store card second. I got the Visa.

kb9tbq
$2,100 credit limit and there was no fee, but it had a high interest rate like 18% so I paid off my purchase and closed it so I would not be tempted to over spend. It is one of the few good accounts I have on my credit report even though it is now closed.I also got cards withK-martJC PenneyYounkersLowe'sAll when my scores where in the mid 600 range. thegame26
I don't mind if theres a high interest rate, I always payoff my balances every month now. But I'll be happy with a $2100 limit and no annual fee.
