Bambee
This is a follow-up to my "IDs and CRAs- What's the Point" thread. I'm reading the threads on debt verification and several people have stated that OCs keep terrible records and that most OCs only keep records for 12 to 18 months. Is this also true for CRAs? How long do CRAs hold on to our letters and our ID? Do they keep copies of our telephone conversations with their reps?
rmuse00
That's a good question. I would suggest you PM one of our members "kb9tbq". She use to work for one of the credit bureaus. She might be able to shed some light on at least one of the bureaus' record keeping.
