win270
What does the date of default in a complaint mean? Is this the date the CRA's would use when computing how long derogatory information can be kept in a consumer’s file. Not the judgment public records TL but the original TL. mydog1233
I think that is the Date they Charged it off if this is a CC. The dofd is what is used by the CRA.Be sure to answer complaint if not they will win by default. The Original TL will report 7 years from dofd. A judgment TL can stay for 10 to 20 years.
