ribbit1072
The first card I opened when I started this adventure was First Premier, in August. Would you close the First Premier now, or wait a full year? It has a 7.00 month fee.
kb9tbq
If it is costing you that kind of money each month to have it opened I would suggest closing it and relying on the new card to further build your credit.
Ravenous Wolf
Why don't you check out your local credit union. The first opportunity you get with improved credit you ought to steer away from these credit card shops. A credit card from a credit union won't use those stupid credit card tricks on you and they will have decent rates and good terms. This site below has a list of credit unions in your area...www.creditunionaccess.com

I'm sticking with my PA state employees union, but they're at least two other credit unions I could belong to based on where I live. PA is certainly the land o' credit unions. -eventy-ix
Is this the only card you have? I wouldn't close it just yet. I know it has a 7.00 fee, but pay that off each month - that should help. (IMO)... I made the mistake of closing mine (and a Sears card we had) - lost major points. Congrats on the new card, btw.
