Question about sending letters to CRA's

I've been reading through the posts on repairing credit and all the information has been VERY helpful. I've got a good idea on where to start. I do have a question though. In some of the sample letters (that I'm tweaking before I send them out), it says to send a copy of my D/L with the letter. Should I do that?

Again, thanks to all who have posted and given newbies like me a place to start!
