LVNV Keeps Adding Bogus Accounts to my CR

LVNV keeps adding bogus different accounts to my CR to knock my score lower. I dispute them with CRA, they are removed within 30 days but LVNV keeps adding another B.S. account 30 days later.

4 x (B.S. account on my CR from LVNV => dispute with CRA => account deleted in 30 days => another B.S. account appears on my CR from LVNV => another dispute with CRA => account deleted in 30 days => yet another different B.S. account appears on my CR from LVNV => yet another dispute with CRA => ...)

Sounds like an actionable malicious slander of credit to me

Did anyone had similar documented problems with LVNV? A possible class action?

A few months ago I had a similar situation with Portfolio Recovery. It took me months of letters to them, complaints to the BBB in both states, complaints to the AGs in both states and an attorney to finally get them off my back (and off my reports) and help from this board (THANK YOU GUYS!!!), but it CAN be done.

Good luck!

LVNV’s Secret: LVNV is trying to bypass the FDCPA by pretending to be a creditor, so you cannot sue them for their violations under FDCPA (They admitted it in Maloney vs. LVNV). They do not send any dunning letters directly (use their sister companies) and they ignore all DV requests. LVNV Funding pretends to be a creditor and maximizes the damage to your credit score by reporting it as "120 days late" and as "open account". LVNV is mainly used to damage your credit score and their other sister companies are used to do the collection activities.

But you can fight them, read this post

Or they use third-party collection agencies that aren't affiliated with them at all, e.g. Brachfeld and Associates/Meridian Management Solutions. I made Brachfeld/Meridian go away with a DV letter, though they never actually responded to it.
