Using Sub-Prime merchandise cards to lower your debt to credit ratio?

I found this video and wanted to throw it on here to get your opinions. It sounds like it may work in theory. But, I have also read that these sub prime lenders are very shady and that many people have been scammed...

Caution: I have not called the number in this video. The fact that it is an '801' number leads me to believe they are deceptively making it look like a toll free number and I suspect there would be charges involved.

First most sub-prime cards charge a monthly fee...

second who wants a bunch of inquiries from sub-prime lenders...

third you can get the same thing but using other accounts like Kay Jewelers and other easy to get cards
