guyer6719 Posted January 30, 2008 Report Share Posted January 30, 2008 For whatever reason, I thought that making payments once a judgement has been entered against you wasn't allowed. I thought you had to either pay the entire amount at once or the creditor would have to agree to settle the debt for less than the original amount. I have a $2300 +/- judgement with a company called Credit One LLC. It would be much easier to make a monthly payment than to come up with $2300. flacorps Posted January 31, 2008 Report Share Posted January 31, 2008 If you send the attorney's office any reasonable amount toward the debt they need to credit your account, put it in the trust account and send it (minus their fees) to the creditor.
