FHA and CREDIT Scire

Recommended Posts

No, there is no real minimum score for FHA loans. It is all based on an automated approval process. All lenders have their own guidelines, but as a rule of thumb, if your scores are all below 580, you will receive a higher rate FHA loan than normal. If they are all below 530, the rate will be even higher, along with much lower chances of getting an automated approval. If they are below 500, you dont have much chance at all of getting an FHA loan at any rate. If you have made all payments on time in last 12 months and had no new delinquencies, this helps greatly.
