lovelydria
Hello CIC Family.. I have a question about no response from TU. I sent two letters out at the same time about to diffrent account to TU. They replied with a letter saying that since I sent in more disputes that allows them 15 more days.. ok.. I said fine. so in the letter that they sent me, they said that they will send me my results by March 4,2008. It is now March 11, 2008. I am in the process of sending them a follow up letter.now I want to know since I sent two diffrent letters the first time, would it it be wise to send two again or include them together this time?.. I am going to send them the letter about not getting back with me after 30 days ( well in my case 45 days).., both letters I sent the first time, both green cards, and the letters that they sent me saying that they would get back with me by March 4, 2008.. What would you do, or am I doing the right thing???? Thanks for all the answers and support..
BTO429
TU has been the easiest for me to deal with so far. Wish could help more
smokhound774
I disputed 17 accounts with TU on January 28 and received the a similiar letter . I received all my results in one letter last week . 7 deletions 5 allegedy verified( last reported date changed to verified date ) and the rest show customer disputes in the comments section .( what ever that means ) They seemed easy enough to work with but we will see as I work on removing the rest of the negatives. gator944
Since you set the stage by sending seperate letters, I would continue with keeping your disputes seperate. I also like the idea of diputing seperately for in the event you need to get really serious with the creditor, your letters being referenced for any action doesn't also contain issues with other creditors. In other words, say you need to provide documentation of your dispute with ABC Company, and need to show your documentation of the dispute. You really don't want your disputes with DEF Company, and GHI Company on that same letter. It would show them a pattern or tip your hand as to them not being the only ones you are having issues with. lovelydria
do you think I should send them out on the same date, or a day apart?
gator944
I see no difference here. Others may have different opinions. For me the purpose of keeping the letters seperate is for future documentation, just in case you need to send someone a copy of one the letters, it doesn't reference similar issues with other companies. I know that the point to your question is whether the CRA will view it as a bulk dipute. I can't see where they would think that for just two. So, send them on the same day. I see no harm. lovelydria
Thanks... One more quick question? since they did not respond within the time they said in the letter and it has been more than 45 days.. do they surpose to delete or start to investigate again? VeVe
It doesn't make any sense at all to send a second letter before receiving a response or the completed investigation results from the first one. Either put everything in one letter, or wait 1-2 months to send the next one.

The results may or may not include the results of the 2nd dispute also. You're better off just doing them all at once or waiting the 30 days. Also, if you dispute the same TLs right away they are only going to parrot the information they just received via eOscar. It takes 120 days for the buffers to clear so they will either parrot or declare the item as previously investigated.

txlimo
Is there any reason why you wouldn't call them and just outright ask where your results are?? Maybe I missed something in the thread but if you send a letter, like Isis, I think that is a free ticket to another 15 day waiting period. Seeing as it is not a CA, I would call them and ask what is going on and why don't I have the results from my disputes.Just my thoughts...

lovelydria
the day that they surpose to send me results has passed and I have not got anything from them, I was going to send them the follow up letter that tells them that they have not respond to my dispute (that letter).. or maybe I am not understanding... lol.. ok, this is what I understand from my reading..dispute with the CRA.. They have 30-45 days to respond right?..well in my case they have not respond, so in my reading you surpose to send them a follow up letter, to my understanding?... is that correct? Next time will have to send the disputes all at once. This can happen if you mail them a couple of days apart. Joseph

I plan on giving them about 5 days to mail the results after that, and then if I don't get the results, I will contact them and tell them that I want the results mailed to me. If you're going by the date you mailed it then no, it's not up yet. You need to go by the date on the green card. If you ARE going by the date on the green card which should be 45 days from that date, then send them a 2nd letter and state that their time is up and they now have 5 days to delete the items from your report since they were unable to verify them. Also include copies of the letters and the green card. You can even call them and do the same thing there.
