What did I do wrong?

I am getting my dv responses, but they are saying I need to provide more info?

CCS says that Under the FCRA Section 623 a (15USC 1681s-2) they are unable to investigate my dispute by reason of my failure to provide suffiecient info to investigate.

In order for them to take further action I must identify the specific info I am disputing, explain the basis for the dispute, and include all supporting documentation to substanstiate the basis of the dispute. Pending receipt of this info, we have advised the CRA to which we report the item is in dispute?

My Dv letter lists my name, address, the account number and that I pulled a copy of my CR and noticed that they are reporting inaccurate info. Under my rights of the FDCPA I request that they validate this debt? What else do I need to send them? I'm not sisouting I want them to validate.. I'm confused....

I will list my other questions in separate threads. Thanks in advance for any and all help!

What is "CCS"...is this a collection agency?

If this is a CA and/or someone reporting information you are disputing, they do have the right and you have the responsibility under section 623 to explain the basis of your dispute and to supply supporting documentation that exists however, I haven't read anything in section 623 that requires you to "prove your case" to them which seems to me to be what they are asking you do.

What you can/should supply to them is going to be dependent on the basis of your dispute.

What is "CCS"...is this a collection agency? yes, they are a ca.

What you can/should supply to them is going to be dependent on the basis of your dispute . This account is really old, and I think it should already be past the 7 yr mark. Their dates are incorrect to my knowledge.

I did the 1-2 punch and this one is with TU. I think I will just wait to see their response with their investigation. thanks again
