Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp (NMAC)- How do I get TL deleted?

Hi,

I'm a newbie here and am finally trying to get my debt/credit straight!

I have been late several times on my NMAC car loan but as soon as I got my bonus and raise from work this year, I paid it off in full (+$3,000), which was earlier than I was supposed to pay it off. I am now trying to get them to remove the negative remarks off of my 3 CRs. I paid it off in February of this year, but when I paid it I think it was 30 days late or something like that. I was going to send them a goodfaith letter, but I'm not sure if I'll have any luck with that. I already tried calling them and explaining why I was late and could never catch up really (my husband became ill and has chronic renal failure) and they were just like its nothing they can do. I see in the goodfaith letter it says to write the CEO who I found out is Carlos Ghosn, but I wasn't sure if where to send the letter. Does anyone have an address I could use? There are some listed overseas and then a couple in the States but I wasnt sure.

Has anyone had any success getting NMAC to delete negative remarks from their CR?

No mail you send to Mr. Ghosn will ever reach him nor will he get involved in NMAC issues.

I would research for the name/address of the person in charge of NMAC (if I had it handy I'd give it to you) and write him your letter asking the tradeline be withdrawn. However, I really would not get my hopes up but it never hurts to ask.

You might also have luck calling Nissan and asking the the mailing address for the Office of the President.
